Jesus Christ died on the cross to rescue our souls from dead. Jesus Christ went to the underworld to wake the great souls of God. Saint George is one of them. Defender of Christ against the tyranny of the roman empire.
Saint George is a great helper of Jesus Christ. He did for Christianity what Elijah did to the Israelites. He fought the demons of hell, the fallen angels. The shadow of hell dispersed and our souls could see the father again.
